Record Information Services, Inc. (RIS) has been in existence for nearly thirteen years, providing a variety of key public and marketing data in Northern Illinois. Our mission is to provide the most current public record information available. We offer a variety of delivery methods including state-of-the-art websites, email, hard copy, discs, and ftp to name a few. You can even download data, make virtual spreadsheets, and create mailing labels, all directly online.
As we have evolved, our customer base has grown. Our major clients include: Chicago Tribune, Daily Herald and West Suburban Newspapers. In addition our customer base ranges from individuals to banks, mortgage companies, insurance companies, title companies, public libraries, public officials, attorneys, real estate firms, churches, plus many more.
Besides our well-established website for retail customers, RIS also launched a website for public libraries. It provides a useful function for people who are interested in certain types of key public record data.
The purpose of this new website is to allow elected officials, school districts, political action groups and others the ability to target specific areas by the State Representative, State Senate, and Congressional District. In addition to political districts, it also offers the ability to target by census tract.
